Another piece of the “new routine” puzzle fell into place today. Hopefully I found a barber (or hair cutter) who can cut my hair basically to my liking. The first one I tried here basically scalped me after I asked her to just trim it. She was absolutely horrible.
Also, I hope I have heard of a good dentist (I haven’t seen him yet, but he sounds promising), which is or at least can be a major decision.
There are still a few things we need to decide (some medical specialists etc.), but basically we at least are comfortable right now with many of our decisions. However, we remain open to change if necessary!
One good thing about Fall is the holidays are coming up! It provides an entire different view from about Veterans Day through Presidents Day.
Of course, it also means the cold weather is coming.
The more I learn about my job, the better I like it. It is interesting and challenging and varies a lot every day. And I’m not even out of training yet!
It has been fun watching he St. Louis Cardinals, especially since we watched most of the Cardinal players who are so good play for the Memphis Redbirds and watched as they started as newbies and developed into great baseball players.
While the playoffs are really just starting, it has been fun watching players we saw basically start out as the “stars”.
We watch some college football, but really haven’t watched any NFL games. No reason, just not really interested in professional football.
On another subject, I noted that amazon.com had a “bluetooth” headset listed for $160, while everywhere else was a maximum of $129. I just don’t trust amazon.com,especially after their fiasco on the book selling. I didn’t realize they did the same thing (arbitrary high prices etc). for whatever reason on shoes and headsets! And who knows what else!
