Spring 2014 June 4 Wednesday

75 degrees this morning, but there is still a coolness in the air.  Sitting on the patio, listening to the birds and wind through the forest.  Slightly cloudy but the rain is supposed to be over.
I feel my bikes obviously having problems, it has different sounds while I ride it.  I expect the chain will jam again.  Now, the question, do I take it in and perhaps be wrong, or, more likely, they can't find the problem, or wait for it to happen again?  Probably will just wait.  Too much going on this month, if it happens again, I'll ask them to delve into it, if not then I haven't lost anything.
I was wrong about Tennessee Department of Labor on unemployment, apparently a lack of communication.  Things are worked out.  Once you get through, they are hard working dedicated personnel, it is just so hard to get through. About like Social Security.
My neighborhood "men's breakfast" is this morning, which I always enjoy when I can make it.  It does throw me off a little, since I normally eat breakfast around 6:00 a.m., and the breakfast is at 8:00 a.m., but i guess it is like most Sunday's when I am up the same time, but don't eat breakfast until 9:30 or so some times.  Actually, I cheat and eat a little at 6:00 a.m., but not my usual breakfast.  I used to eat an apple and peanut butter until I got turned off by the rotten apples I got.  Now I eat some low calorie cheese and peanut butter.
Lunch with a friend yesterday, who is also looking for a job after a long history of work.  Good to learn what other people are trying and having the opportunity to discuss job hunting and coping with not having a job.  Both of us are basically positive, so that helps.
Apple store yesterday was interesting, as usual, and I am always excited after a session about the possibilities of computer programs.  In this case, I worked on iPhoto again, trying to get a handle on my photo collection, probably week out 50% of it.  I did learn that my videos are automatically in iMovie, so I can edit them.  The iPhone has a bad habit of somehow getting into video mode and I end up taking a video when I meant to take a picture, so I end up deleting a lot of one to three second videos.
I have been testing "naps" and how much of a nap I really need.  I am really engerized  by even a 10 minute nap,or, on the other hand, sometimes can get real draggy without my 10 minute nap.  I usually take a 30 minute nap after my exercise in the morning, but want to find out if 10 minutes is enough, if I take a 10 minute nap at noon.  I love short naps, while I am driving, I frequently stop (about every hour) and take a  5 minute nap, which keeps me alert on long (or short) trips.  I have been this way all my life (since even high school even).
There are some nosily birds out here this morning.
That's it for now, maybe more later, Wednesday, June 4, 2014.
