2020 Spring April 4 Saturday

35  degrees this morning,  85% humidity Wind 10 mph

As low as 31 degrees yesterday and didn’t get much better than that.   Overall a miserable day.

Thought about walking  didn’t get any further than just a  brief appearance outside to see how cold it really was, especially with the wind of around 21 mph.

Did “contactless pickup” of groceries tonight as well as “pickup” at a local restaurant.  This is starting to almost seem “normal," although not really.

I think the general feeling that this will be over even in several months is starting to change to the realization  it may be much longer, how much longer I don’t think anyone is willing to even guess anymore.

I think we all think, at least subconsciously, that this will are be something like “War of the Worlds” and the virus will die suddenly and not come back, or a vaccine will be suddenly developed.

Hopefully that will be the case.

Of course, in the past people lived with the threat of TB, malaria, polio , etc., and since I wasn’t there I don’t know what it is like to live with a threat like that.  I do remember getting one of the first polio shots and the relief of parents at the time.

Of course when I was a child, we all routinely got mumps, measles and chicken pox.  It was just a part of childhood.

Doesn’t make the current virus threat any better, but it does give you hope.

Perhaps worse may be the unbelievable unemployment that no one is really prepared for in addition to all of the businesses being shut down.  Based on what I know, many small businesses and families can’t survive a week, much less several months without revenue coming in.

Enraged at the lying coward lunatic and his games at letting “private businesses” (probably his family business or gets “donations” from them) that they actually give precious protective medical items to private businesses who then turn around and rip off cities (and the federal government itself) by price gouging and making huge profits on the suffering and death of others.

The lunatics son in law is really a case of ignorance, stupidity and greed.  Obviously way beyond his mental abilities and he is screwing these up almost as bad as the lunatic.  Just a slum landlord and he can’t rise above the slum landlord thinking

I am sick of seeing the lying coward lunatic squealing his insane lies and so insecure he blames  everyone else for his incompetence and errors creating by his obsessive need to have his as boots licked by everyone and only appoints book lickers  who lie about how good he is.

Glad the weekend is here.  I can use a break from five days of basically the same thing.   Not that I don’t enjoy it, it is just good to have a break.

That’s it for now, Saturday, April 4, 2020.
