Today , December 21, 2008, is the fisrt day of Winter, the shortest day of the year etc.
While it signals the "start" of Winter, it also signals longer days and the march towards Summer of 2009! I do wait for March (or April) to arrive with the beautiful flowers, green grass and warm weather, but at least I know every day is another day towards summer!
