Not bad this morning, no wind. While it was cool, it wasn’t “biting” coolness.
Pace was 7 seconds blow my goal.
Spring is here! While it is cool, we also know warm weather is coming! It may seem very slow in coming, but at least it is coming!
Spring is nice, because you are still building up to Summer. On June 21, you know that it is the start of the descent into Winter.
Even though there is a lot of hot and warm weather after June 21, the days are getting shorter etc.
Watching how “everyone” (the media etc.) is ganging up on Facebook. I am always amazed at the frenzy of how people turn on a company, or cause or person etc. It is like the tulip bulb frenzy in reverse.
All of a sudden we are getting all kinds of dire warnings to remove Facebook etc. (especially from their competitors) and everyone is piling on, like a bunch of baying dogs.
While Facebook has become a pain sometimes with all of the advertising and unwanted posts, it is easy to block what you don’t want to see.
Of course, all of the people who decry “regulation” of the financial institutions who have a history of grossing cheating customers, companies who follow unsafe work practices to save money at the expense of employees and consumer lives etc. are suddenly calling for “regulation” of Facebook etc.
I believe “regulation” depends on “where the money is” rather than any real concern for consumers etc.
If nothing else, I think “Messenger” is well worth it.
I have been monitoring my weight on a daily basis. I am surprised by how much it fluctuates, even on a day to day basis. It makes me realize how there may be no such thing (at least for me) as a specific weight, since it vary significantly from day to day.
The usual recommendation is to weigh weekly but with the amount my weight fluctuates on a daily basis, if I weighed weekly, depending on the day I weight, it could be misleading depending on which day I weighed.
Went to Buffalo Wild Wings last night. The available options for eating certainly pointed out the problems with maintaining a “meatless” life style.
However, I had some eating options I normally would’t have tried, but that I really enjoyed, so it wasn’t really a sacrifice.
Another day without meat. I believe today marks one month without meat (beef , chicken or fish.
I don’t know how long I will maintain this eating pater, but I will continue at least for today.
