Fall 2015 October 9 Friday

63 degrees this morning, 39:22 minute walk

Got one of those messages on my phone that it was going to rain during my walk time, but fortunately it was incorrect. Don’t know if that was why I was slower than usual, or if I was just slower than usual!

Field Day yesterday was busy.  As usually seems to happen I ran into a new situation I hadn’t  encountered before and then immediately the same situation!  It is rather weird how often that happens.

The trees haven’t really started to “turn” yet, although there is a little evidence here and there.  I remembered mid-October as the time when the leaves turned in earnest and usually some cold rain would come along and finish the leaves for the season.

It could be I was    wrong, or it could more likely be here is no normal and when it happens, it happens.

Along “turning leaves” are pretty (in a way), it also forecasts the coming of winter.  Also, trees absorb noise, so it tends to get louder.   Right the street noise isn’t bad or even really noticeable ,although it is worse then I expected, since we are not close to a really busy street.  We are close to a couple of the old “square mile” streets, but they aren’t really all that busy.

Of course, in this city, who knows what they will allow to be built  Residential neighborhoods seem to be fair game for any sign or commercial business company with the right connections.

Planning here is so horrible, I am really surprised there isn’t more comments about it.  Everyone is worried about things they can’t really do anything about instead of something they could do something about if they made enough noise.

Right now, I am the lone voice in the wilderness, so to speak, but maybe I can get the voices to increase and get a lot louder about allowing huge video signs in back yards, not buffering commercial from residential etc.

Apparently that is ingrained in “the system” here, so it may be impossible to change.

Another dream to report:

10 8 15 Dream

(During post exercise nap)

Dreamed I was in a Downtown Hotel, not sure what City, probably a combination of Denver and Kansas City, Denver as I knew it when I want out there to work for the summers I went to college (Major changes in Denver since, to say the least!I)

I’m not sure what I was doing there, but I checked into a big downtown hotel.  I was driving (don’ know what car) and parked in an underground parking lot.

Went to my room.

Later dreamed I was walking downtown, down a hill apparently back to the hotel. I was watching street life and started marching and counting “kill 2 3 4” (remember this was a dream) to keep people away from me.

Apparently it worked, no one bothered me.

Later I drove someplace and all the parking lots were empty.  Not sure where I went.  On way back, I noticed the parking lots were still empty, but they were also blocked off with “fences” of long white cloth.

On my way out I noticed some people in a swimming pool built kind of like a livestock  tank.  They were swimming and hooting and yelling.

I drove into the street and the car died.  I was pushing it and noticing there was no traffic, although it was a six lane street..

As I approached the hotel I woke up.

Dream was in kind of like night time to early dawn.  Didn’t recognize anyone else in the ream, didn’t talk to anyone except the street people and I ignored them.  No real recollection of interacting with anyone in the hotel etc.

Fall 2015 October 8 Thursday

61 degrees this morning 38:37 minute walk

I don’t really feel “ready” for cold weather and winter, but then I never do.  The Summer is all too short.

This winter, I really am going to get someplace warm (if not hot) to get away from the cold for at least a short time!

At least the Winter here isn’t really that bad, basically cold weather is in short spells and the really bad weather is from around mid December to late February.

At least I don’t have to worry about keeping snow, ice off the streets etc.  (other than just as a resident).  Since my office is in my home, I don’t worry about bad streets going to the office and even my field work can be adjusted to another day when there isn’t really bad weather, since the streets are normally clear after a day or so.

Maybe that (change in jobs) is one reason I get so angry about the gross violations of City Ordinances and the extreme lack of planning by this city.  I really can’t do anything about it and the negative effect on the quality of life here.

Aliene and I tried to put a “grill” together last night (one of those “easy to assemble” grills).  It is not easy and I’m not sure if it is even possible!  Of course, there was a note in the box that you could call this company about assembly.

Of course, it was hidden away where we didn’t see it until we had already had it partly assembled.

I really think there ought to be a rating system from “A” to “E” or something like that, with A being “anyone can do it” to E (“do not attempt this unless you are an expert”).

Of course, as someone who almost flunked shop in high school and never technically much good, I learned early in life that I simply didn’t have the ability to do much more than hammer a nail (and I’m not much good at that”.).

I did learn early that the only way I would even come close to assembling something, no matter how simple, is to closely follow the instructions and have a toll-free number or assistance close!

However, for the most part I just stay away from “easy to assemble” items and I am a sucker for the “we will put it together” offers, not matter what the cost.

One area that bothers me is bicycle riding.  As someone who can’t even change a bicycle tire, I am at the mercy of flat tires, bad chains, separated brake cables etc.

I heard in Oregon and some areas like that, AAA responds to bike emergencies and that would be good.  Not worth moving to Oregon for (I didn’t really care much for Portland etc. , or at least want to live there, nothing wrong it it, it just isn’t for me).  Maybe someday it will come here!

In the meanwhile, I depend on having a phone with me to call if I have any bike trouble  too far away.

I haven’t given up with the “Ride with the Summer” ride, in fact I have started training for it.  Probably won’t be next summer, maybe the Summer of ’17.

Exercise became a part of my routine easily.  I already notice it when I miss swimming on a day.  (It really isn’t easy to schedule on weekends, so I  miss two days a week no matter what).

Baseball playoffs have started.  It will be difficult for us since we are both strong St. Louis Cardinal and Chicago Cub fans.  We will just hope each does it’s best.  We watched so many of the Cardinals get their start in Memphis it is hard not to root for them, but…. we have been Cub fans for years and it would be nice to see them win the World Series.  Dream on, probably!

Fall 2015 October 7 Wednesday

64 degrees this morning  Walk 37:38 minutes

I noticed  how once i get in a certain “weather mode”, I tend to stay that way.  Several weeks ago it was 64 degrees and I wore “warm weather” clothes for my walk.

The temperature dropped to 54 degrees and I started wearing long pants (instead of shorts), a long sleeve undershirt (actually my prized “32 degrees” “smart shirt”), a neck warmer (to go over my mouth and nose so the “exercise induced asthma wouldn’t kick in in the colder air) and a stocking cap to keep my head warm.

Of course, now that it is 64 degrees again, I keep dressing as if it was 54 degrees!

My “Pulse Oximeter” went the road of many small things, I couldn’t find it this morning.  I am sure it will turn up.  I will need to start keeping it in a “silent butler” like I do everything else.

Years ago, I accepted the fact that I needed to have what I have learned is called a “silent butler”.  Any small items (watches, eye glasses, keys, wallet, rings, etc.) go one place and one place only when they are off me.

Believe me it works, it has saved a lot of time spent hunting for stuff.  Of course, you have to remember to put it in that “one place”, but I have learned to usually do that.  If I don’t, I suffer the consequences.

Listening to the book on the Mafia, (I learned that “Mafia”, is capitalized, refers to the organization, while “mafia” with small case is the person and can refer to a number of items), I am even more struck how there are similarities with business and the Mafia.

I remember years ago, the teaching of “ethics” in business courses, especially for an MBA etc. was a hot thing.

Either the courses weren’t any good or the students apparently learned the opposite from the course and learned how to avoid ethical behavior!  As noted in the 2008 meltdown, many executives should have been in jail from that, not rolling in money from exploiting the situation.

The “short term” thinking is also the exact opposite of what was supposed to have been taught.

I assume, like anything, when extremists take over, there will be an over reaction in the future.

I just read yesterday where a “hedge fund”  (read “thieves”) took over a company, gave themselves a big dividend, bankrupted the company and now again own the company (by buying its debt) at a fraction of it’s worth, where they will probably do it again, at the expense of small shareholders and suppliers etc.

Sitting outside again, probably for one of the last times until late next Spring, at least in the early morning.  Actually, I will probably be sitting outside, but on the “inner” part of the patio with the fireplace.

The Camry will be a year old, I believe next week, and will have exactly 15,000 miles  sometime during next week.  I figure on keeping the car for 7 years and 100,000 miles, so that is exactly on track. Actually, I will probably drive a little less, since my “territory” is closer and I put on about 30 miles less each time I go out, which is about 75 miles a week (on average) or probably 4,000 miles less per year.  Of course, I don’t know what the unknown is.

“Field Day’ yesterday.  As usual, every Field Day I learn something new and run into a new situation!  Actually, even the office days can be interesting based on e-mails and telephone calls.

That’s it for now, Wednesday, October 7, 2015.

Fall 2015 October 6 Tuesday

56 degrees this morning Walk 38:11 miles

Listening to a book this morning about “Gaspipe:  Confessions of a Mafia Boss”.  I thought it would be a major change from the books I have been reading.

However, except for the brutal murders etc., there appears to be a lot of similarities.  The “network” that provides the vast amounts of money etc. resembles being “connected”.

When I hear about drug companies say they are right in “maximizing profits” by bankrupting sick people and raising insurance rates when they buy “old” drugs and vastly raise the prices for people who depend on them to live, I have to say they are probably worse than the mafia.

The drug companies who raise the price of a drug by literally thousands of percent and hurt people who depend on it and increase medical costs and insurance for everyone  certainly do a lot more damage to people and are bigger thieves than the mafia ever even thought of being.

At the risk of feeling a little like a turncoat, I purchased one of the $50 “Kindle Fire” iPads.  Our intent was to use it primarily as a remote for our security system and whatever else we needed around the house.

Of course, there is not currently “an app for that” that works on the $50 Kindle Fire.

However, I am impressed.  For $50 it is a e-book reader, an audio book speaker, a calendar, e-mail etc., as well as music player, a basic camera and a lot of other things done by the iPad.

Of course, it has some major limitations, but for $50 it is impressive.  It will be even more impressive when more apps are available.

I don’t know that it will replace the iPad, but it will certainly be useful for $50.

Speaking of apps, after paying $50 for a “pulse oximeter”, I checked the “app store” and….  of course there are several “apps” that do the same and more for anything from free to $4.99!  Teach me to check the “apps” first!

It has been interesting to see how my oxygen level (and pulse) change throughout the day, right after exercise, right after I wake up  etc.  I’m sure I will soon get tired of checking all the time, but it is kind of fun now.

At it is fun as long as my oxygen level continues to be ok!  My pulse has never been a problem (frequently it is in the 38 range, if I am resting  although it is more when I am moving about.

Going out “in the field” today, working on some both old and new accounts.  I always enjoy it.

Been trying to get back into my exercise routine, walk, swimming and bicycling.  Just a matter of finding the time.

Dream during my “post exercise” nap yesterday was strange.  By the time I thought to write it down, I had forgotten a lot of it.  Interesting dream.

10 5 15 Monday Dream

Dreamed I was in a small town.  During the entire dream, I was trying to find a place to eat.  I would go to a place and it would be deserted.

I would see people walking around outside, but no one even really came beck to a store/restaurant where I was at the time.

It was a city with a town square, kind of like Holton, Kansas

I don’t recall a lot of it now, but the restaurants all had those old wood floors the “worn” wood type of floor.

It was one of those dreams where it was like I wasn’t noticed, even though I was there

Fall 2015 October 5 Monday

56 degrees this morning, Walk 38:36 (estimated forgot to shut off stop watch)

Finished listening to the audiobook on Elon Musk this morning.  Overall, it was definitely worth while listening to the book, in spite of the hero worship nature of the writing.

It was interesting to kind of catch up on an area of advances I had apparently ignored, at least I didn’t consciously think about them, advances in electric cars, private space activity (although depending a lot on the government) and solar power for both residential and businesses.

Now I reach that point I always anticipate selecting another audiobook to listen to for the next month or so, unless I pick a book I absolutely hate.

Some of the audiobooks are quite long, I think the longest is 69 hours (War and Peace).  Gone With the Wind is 49 hours and there are several in that range.

“It” by Stephen King is in that range, but I basically have decided it isn’t something I want to listen to while I am walking in the dark!  I remember the first time I read it (in 1985, I believe, so that is actually 30 years ago!, although it may have been 1986).

At the time, I still stayed up late reading and I actually got up and checked the drains!  (You have to have read the book to understand.)  I also now have a basic district of clowns, unless I know them personally!

The best Stephen King books kind of lead you into this feeling that maybe, just maybe, this (whatever is in the book) may really happen or have happened.  The worst of his books are boring and/or trite.

To me, it is well worth the effort to read his books, in the event it is a “good” book.  His best books are simply wonderful.

In a way, a book (or a movie, ballgame or whatever) is like planning a trip, half the fun is the anticipation, at least more me.  Not to mean I don’t enjoy the actual event or book, but I also enjoy planning to read, watch or participate, whatever the case may be!

Starting work after a 4 day weekend.  I think it is always difficult to get started, although I also look with anticipation at getting started  again, since I will have new accounts today.  (I snuck a look over the weekend, just to be sure some new ones were there!

Another dream during my post-exercise nap:  10 4 15 Sunday Dream

Dreamed I was attending a conference and was staying in a high rise hotel

I attended some sessions and went up to my room, which  was more like a corner of the corridor, although I could close it up.

I was walking around the city (unknown City, but probably Chicago) and while walking back to the hotel, saw Angela walking also.  I was close to the hotel, so I keep walking and she walked up behind me and spoke to me.

Apparently she was attending the same conference and staying at the same hotel.

I went up to the 11th floor and we agreed to meet for a meal.

I went to my room and for some reason made oatmeal..  However I couldn’t find a spoon to eat it with and I kept thinking I had to meet Angela for lunch (o whatever).

I walked down to the elevator, but it never opened, so I went back to my room to call Angela and tell her I couldn’t get the elevator to stop.

ON the way back i went through another room that was on both sides of the corridor. There was several children playing.  For some reason I spelled my oatmeal  on my jeans and realized I needed to go back to change.

A woman's voice on the phone (I was talking on the speaker phone) told me someone I didn’t know had passed away.  I said I was sorry and said it seemed he was young. She said, well, he was several years older than I (sheI) was”.  I didn’t know who was on the phone so I didn’t say anything.

I found my room overlooked the lobby (from the eleventh floor) on an outside porch type of way.  I found some money on the floor (first penny’s and then half dollars).

The half dollar turned into a music player playing some type of classic (old, not classical) music, maybe jazz, like Dean Martin.  I keep trying to get the oatmeal out of the bowl.

I realized it had ben a long time i had met Angela and I was very late.  I was calling her when I woke up.

A little confusing, but that was how the dream was!

Fall 2015 October 4 Sunday

54 degrees this morning, walk 37:48 minutes

Every time I walk and see the “video billboard” lighting up the backyards of about ten house, I get angry about the city that allowed this to happen and the billboard owner who has such a lack of concern for other persons, a few dollars a month is more important than destroying the house value and quality of life for at least ten households!

To say I will never buy anything advertised on it is meaningless, since oddly enough, I don’t remember anything that is advertised on it.

What is amazing is the overall lack of planning/concern by the city, a huge video board board, a Sonic with a  24 hour video sign and music, and a huge strip shopping mall with absolutely no buffer between the commercial and residential.  (Probably they are going to plant some tiny trees that will die within a year, although I haven’t even seen a sign of that!

Last day of my 4 days off.  I actually have really enjoyed it, although it isn’t something I would want to do all the time yet!

I went ahead and finished the John Grisham book.  I got more involved in it as the action proceed, although I don’t know that I will read any more of his books of the same type.

I have been using my “Pulse Oximeter” to keep track of my oxygen level (as well as my pulse).  It may seem rather weird to say I am having “fun” with it, let me use the word “interesting”, it was been an interesting experience.

While I haven’t thought of it before, my oxygen level drops after exercise, which I believe now is somewhat common or natural.  I also verified that the “supplemental oxygen” machine really works.  I don’t quite understand how the Pulse Oximeter actually works.  I understand how it measures my pulse, but don’t understand how it measures the oxygen in my blood.  Maybe one of those things I would just as soon not know!

Nearing the book on Elon Musk (Tesla,  Space X etc.).  I recently noticed that the owner of Amazon is also getting into the space business.

Reminded again why I don’t like to shop at Amazon.  I ordered some sandals, since I couldn’t find any at stores (since winter is coming).  One pair was ok, the other pair were just cheap junk, like a lot of stuff from Amazon.

The hassle of returning it almost made we want to throw it  away instead of messing around with sending it back, but I felt I needed to send them a message, that it was junk and I wasn’t going to accept it.

Another dream, again during my “post exercise” nap:

10 3 15 Dream Saturday

Dream, with an underlying them of fear and menace and danger.

I was up in the middle of the night, Aliene was sleeping.  We lived in some kind of town house.

At one point I was driving someplace and a lime green car parked and I drove around it thinking there was something dangerous about it.

The scene I remember most, I was sitting in a courtyard talking with a person that works with me now and someone who I assume worked there.  At one point I asked if anyone wanted coffee.  they said no, but I wanted some.

I kept asking about someone who was some kind of Supervisor or Administrator, saying I had never met him.

I went to make some coffee and kept locking myself out of of the house.  Aliene was sleeping and I didn’t want to wake her up.

Then I  saw Katherine (my granddaughter) sitting the porch listening to music.  I had locked the front door and she was on the front porch.

A car went past as I tried to quietly get back inside to get some coffee.

I woke up.

Fall 2015 October 3 Saturday

Fall 2015 October 3 Saturday

54 degrees this morning, walk 38:37 minutes

Definitely turning into Fall weather.  And it only seems like a short time ago that I was getting ready for 2015, now it is 75% gone!

Yesterday, October 2, marked 15 months in this city and 13 months on my job.   I am very disappointed in the city and very pleased with my work.

Every time I see the  video billboard sign (with advertisements for things you really wouldn’t want your child reading) lighting up the back yards (and back rooms) of about ten new houses, I almost get physically sick with anger at the absolute negligence of the city officials who would allow this.

In addition, the same row of houses back up to a huge strip mall with absolutely no buffering.  Although I am far away from this, I do plan on complaining about this.

My “two days’ off” are over.  Actually it was very enjoyable and I just peaked at my work e-mail and my new accounts for a brief time!

I have been reading the latest John Grisham book (Gray Mountain).  I have to admit I am having a hard time staying focused on it.  After his first two books, he has been very spotty in his writing and some of his books really haven’t been that good.

It is almost like he is just trying to get something written and just tosses it off.  When he can be such a wonderful writer, that is really a same.

His book “The Innocent Man” was exceptional and I still am somewhat shocked by the brutal assumption of the police and prosecutor that the person was guilty and how any evidence indicating otherwise was explained away.

The fact that it happened in Ada, Oklahoma, made it even more interesting and also shows the damage caused by someone who becomes obsessed with something and assumes everything else is subservient to that.

I don’t know if there is a lot of difference between that and someone obsessed with something like mountain to the exclusiveness of everything else.

Although a completely different type of obsession, I am always reminded about a speech I heard by Beck Weathers (“Left of Dead’) and the obsession of mountain climbers.

Of course, there are similar obsessions, for money, success,  for security, for risk taking, for a variety of things.

I think part of the success at obtaining “balance” (without it becoming an obsession!) is being able of not worry about “one more”, such as “one more mountain, one more dollar, etc. whatever may obsess you.

I remember years ago, after I had started exercising on a steady basis, a staff member at the YMCA mentioned he know of people who became so obsessed with running (or weights, or whatever)  that they actually had to go “in patient” to break the obsessions since they were losing their jobs etc. over it.  Shortly after that I met someone who spent six hours a day doing some type of exercise and I saw what he meant.

I never got even close to that point, but I try to observe myself.  Even now, between all of my types of exercising, I easily spend several hours a day on just what I consider light exercise, so it would be easy to take up a lot of time with it.

Hate to see the cold weather coming.  It takes a lot longer to dress for exercise in the morning.  Although it i is only a few minutes, it tends to throw me off of my morning schedule.

Nice to have one “weekend” and then another “weekend” right after that!  I intend to enjoy it!

Fall 2015 October 2 Friday (Happy Birthday Aliene!)

57 degrees this morning, walk 37:51 minutes

A Happy Birthday to Aliene today!  The time has gone fast!

57 degrees this morning.  I didn’t even try to sit outside, although I may figure a way later, at last that I can sit on the inside patio.

Today is the First day I wore a stocking cap and a half face mask/neck warmer  on my walk (there is a name for it that I can’t spell) due to the cold.

If I don’t wear the mask over my mouth I will have a coughing fit from “exercise induced asthma” in cold weather although I have some “puffs” that also help a lot.

Purchased a “Pulse Oximeter”.  I didn’t realize such a thing existed, at least “over the counter” at a reasonable price until my sister, Eleanor mentioned it to me.  Nice to have a nurse in the family sometimes!

Of course, right now I am using it to check my oxygen level  and the pulse all the time.  Probably not necessarily a good idea, except I feel that I have adapted to live with lower oxygen (not really).  I am surprised by how much it changes.

At least I do know that the oxygen machine actually works!  While I am using it, the oxygen level is right up there.  My oxygen level is lowest right after my exercise (walk) and probably it will be the same after my swim, but I think that is normal.

I wouldn’t be too surprised if here isn’t an “app for that” that measures your oxygen by putting your finger on the camera lens, like the pulse app.  I should have checked on that before I put out the money for a pulse oximeter.

I have a credit card that has “price rewind”.  It I put something in I purchased, the credit card feature will automatically check for a lower price and refund me the difference!  There probably is a minimum and maximum, I haven’t really checked into that.  Actually, it says if they find a lower price I can “request” a refund from the credit card company.  I’ll see.

That will clear up the anxiety of worrying about getting the lowest price!

New eye glasses are doing fine, I really like them.  My only problem (if it can be called that) is I forget I have them on when I get in the shower etc.

Still listening to the  book on Elon Musk.  As I mentioned, “success” frequently if measured by cronyism with the  government and good luck, as well as skill and ability.  Telsa got a 457 MILLION dollar loan from the government and lucked into a auto manufacturing plant (the GM/Toyota joint plant that they had just abandoned) for literally nothing.
Not to minimize other skills and abilities, but no one really does it by themselves.  (The Space X program also receives a lot of upfront funding from the government that I’m sure they get from lobbying and cronyism.)
Day off yesterday and today (from working last weekend).  It is nice.  Yesterday, of course, I scheduled so much stuff I almost felt like I had been working!  Not really “working”, but we did schedule in a full day of activities and may do the same today!  Or not, which is what makes it so nice.

Actually I enjoy most of my job so much, I enjoy working, but it is still nice to have a few days off to take care of some personal stuff and just have a change of routine.

Of course that is one of the the things I enjoy most about my job, is it isn’t routine and it is something different every day.

That’s it for now, Friday, October 2, 2015.

Fall 2015 October 1 Thursday

63 degrees this morning, 38:14 minute walk

Still relatively comfortable out here on the “open” patio, although I may change my mind as time goes on!

Keep thinking today is Saturday, since I have today and tomorrow off.  I am having a little problem adjusting to having a day/days “off” while regular work is going on (not a Holiday etc), but I am sure i will enjoy it.

Just amazed at how crude this city is in it’s planning. I just noticed the City allowed a huge “LED” (or at least animated) bill board right in the back yard of a brand new house!   Basically the billboard will ruin the value of about ten brand new houses.

Sick.

I wish now we had never purchased a house in this city just to protest the bad-not just bad-almost criminal-planning practices.

That’s not even counting the Sonic across the street with it’s 24 hour music and it’s own bright sign that is lit and animated 24 hours a day!

The planning of this city is a joke and now I understand why everyone laughs when they mention “planning” here!  There isn’t any, or it is all oriented so that whatever the commercial wants, the commercial get and the heck with the residents.

I am enjoying my swimming, I am slowly developing a routine when I can do it most week days.  It is very enjoyable and a good counterpoint to walking and bike riding.

For the first time in my  life, I plan on learning how to use some of the “machines” that develop (or maintain) various areas in your body.  The YMCA offers up to three training sessions on them

As I mentioned before, I don’t plan on going all out or trying to go “to the next level”  (whatever that is) but just use them to maintain or maybe make sure I maintain every part of my body as well as I can!

Hopefully, I will take some swimming lessons, I really haven’t decided yet.  I probably really don’t “swim” as such, I just kind of paddle around, but i enjoy it.

There may be some storms coming in this morning.  If there is lightning in the area, they YMCA shuts down the swimming pool, logically enough.  I understand it but it still doesn’t make up for losing my swimming time!

Another dream, I may need to have a separate area for my dreams if I start to remember more of them all the time:

9-30-15 Wed. Dream

Dreamed I was in a historic district of this city.  A lot of construction going on.  Aliene was in a meeting.

Dreamed I was with several other City Managers I knew in the past (although in the dream I didn’t recognize them).

A lot of construction going on.

I saw this City’s City Manager (I don’t know him) on tv. He had addressed the Commission on tv and was wearing a funny costume, kind of like a vegetable and his wife and daughter were also there an and dressed up in costumes.

He advised the City Commission he was going to address them “informally"

Later he came to where I was at (I didn’t talk with him or was he aware of me).  He said a few things and left.

I got caught on some construction, on an item above a big trenched in area and couldn’t figure out how to get down.  Finally I decided I had gotten there, so I could get off and I got back onto regular ground. ).

As the dream ended I was sitting around talking to the two City Managers I originally talked  to. One of them introduced his wife.

I decided it was time to go pick up Aliene and then woke up.  Didn’t recognize any of the characters in this dream other than the ones I mentioned.

That’s it for now, Thursday, October 1, 2015
